Kepoh : Kesian Cikgu

As or or Dean's List.

Pasal cikgu kena stay up tu ak rasa memang tak patut. Tanpa PBS ni pun kerja cikgu dah banyak. Kelas tambahan lepas sekolah, guru penasihat aktiviti kokurikulum, latih budak2 wakil sekolah, uruskan event sekolah. Without any extra payment. Sebab tu aku respect cikgu. Sebab tanpa cikgu macam ni, zaman sekolah mungkin tak semanis yang kita pernah lalui. Cuba bayar kalau cikgu mengajar lepas tu balik.

Kejap2 masuk topic lain. ADHD agaknya aku ni. Just my own way to show how deeply concern I am about this PBS thingy.

Travelling with Kelana Convoy?

First of all I would like to thank you reader for making this post appear on the first page of Google Search. If you get some time in your trip, don't forget to mention my post here to the guide.

From I see from my Trafic Overview by Nuffnang, most of people land on my blog by searching in google "Kelana Convoy" and "Kelana Convoy review". I'm not really sure what the heck are you guys looking for, but I would like to apologise the disappointment you get when you read my previous blogpost about Kelana Convoy. I was too lazy that time to write a full review whatsoever. So now, I would like to give my full review.

If you are still in doubt about Kelana Convoy, I suggest you rethink again. There are nothing to doubt about Kelana Convoy. They give the best they can so that It will be worth or better for the cheap price you pay.  Could anyone tell me a Travel Company that charge you a mere RM4000 and guide you for 13 days in Europe visiting 6-8 Country? Only Kelana Convoy does that! They even provide foods for your entire Europe's trip.

Our cabin in Paris
Kelana Convoy give you a unique way of travel by providing accommodation at a campsite (sleeping in tent or upgrade to cabin). This is how they manage to offer an amazing Europe's tour at a cheap price. The guide also gives a detailed explanation of every places. He even tell you the location of Hard Rock Cafe for those collectors. If you still doubt that if there is someone really want to travel that way, than try check their tour's itinerary. Tour during summer are usually fully booked and packed.  The owner once told us that on summer he will be guiding  full capacity of 4 double-decker bus. If you check their website, even Rosyam Nor and his family joined their tour once!

Paris' Grand Mosque
One thing that my tour with Kelana Convoy is how they include Islamic aspect. For example, the guide explained to us how liberalism in Netherlands and what Islam teach us. The guide constantly reminded us about the Greatness of Allah's creation. They also never forgot to remind us about Salah and even brought us to Mosque and suggest Halal Restaurant.

Cabin-mate
Our Group : Highlight of Europe 2013
Another joy of Kelana Convoy is getting to know other person/family. This help increase your social circle. Who know, later the person you meet might help you with your job or you might found your future spouse. I guess without Kelana Convoy, I probably don't have friends who are doctor, a university Prof etc.

There is one things that I hope can be fixed. From my last trip with them, some of important places are not covered completely. In my case this happen while we were in Paris. We were shown Notre Dame just from inside our moving bus. Any attempt to take a photo would be pointless as the quality of the photo would be terrible and shaky. Montmartre and Musee du Louvre (Mona Lisa) were also not included. And lucky for me I didn't took the Disneyland Paris option as I think that would not worth me trip. My sugesstion is don't go to Disneyland. Hahahahaha. Ask the guide which places would be covered in the official tour (2nd day) Paris. If some of your target places are not included, throw away Disneyland Paris (1st day) and explore Paris on your own. To make things easier download an android apps called Paris Metro Subway Guide (this is for London). This apps is suitable for those metro-subway beginner. Small group with the same mission with you is highly recommended. As for us who opted not to go to Disneyland, the guide brought us to Gallery La Fayette, Paris Opera House and Musee du Louvre. After that we explore by ourselves to Grande Arche and Montmartre. Though I regret not exploring Paris with only the two of us (Iqa and I).

I guess I can conclude my long and obvious fact about Kelana Convoy by saying They rocks! └(^o^)┘

New Update! 10 April 2014

How to maximized your trips, minimized your money

This tips and trick is a collection of what I've done during my trip Highlights of Europe (winter) with Kelana Convoy and what I observed other people in my group did.

1) Travel at a place in a small group.
I recommend 2-3 person per group. Although you travel from Malaysia with a big group i.e extended family, please do this when you are traveling in a place. Group with people with the same goal and the same interest. Your trip will be meaningless if you wish to see the painting of Mona Lisa but stick with people who hate museum.

2) Do your research
Prepare early about which place you would like to visit. The tour guide will usually give 2-3 hours period for us to roam freely at current city. Sort out you priority and plan everything. I do means everything which means you'll have to know which tram you need to take, what kind of ticket you should buy and what will you do. I downloaded an offline Europe guide, which allow me to find every information I need. For example : by the time we reached Amsterdam, Iqa and I already headed toward the ticket machine and wait for our tram while others are still asking the guide about which ticket they should buy. Since I already know that traveling in Europe means visiting either buildings or museum, Iqa and I spend our time at a landmark/tourist spot taking only a few good picture before we move on to other place. this way, we both can have our pictures taken at most famous landmarks within just 2-3 hours including buying souvenirs and trying local foods.

3) Never pay for shower
Certain campsites required you to pay around €2 for a 5 minutes shower and extra for hot shower. My advice : never throw away minerals water's bottle they give in the bus. What we did is we collect around 10 or more bottles, fill it with water from the sink and shower with it. Although this is a terrible idea for a winter trip (the water from the sink is freaking cold) but it is a brilliant idea for a summer trip. And we did this in winter. Its is good when you could find a sink with both cold and hot water supply.

4) Never buy lunch.
Both breakfast and dinner is included in your trip daily (check with your itinerary). Meals are rarely provided for lunch because this time is usually the time for you to roam free and try multiple local delicacies. The guide will point out/bring you to a halal restaurant available within the area. If you want to cut your cost then don't buy lunch. I didn't do this tips as I get hungry easily especially in winter. A person in our group did this though. She brought a Tupperware together in her luggage and but-load of Maggi Goreng, bread and bread spread such as Tuna. During breakfast she eats her breakfast and then prepare Maggi or bread for her lunch. I never saw her buy any lunch, only some snacks such as waffle or crepes. When we got back to our campsite, then will she ate heavy food at Dinner.

5) Remove any shopping attempt.
This tips seems impossible as I'm sure most of Malaysian that visit Europe plan to shop. But it is still possible. During my trips I only buy souvenirs. No new handbags or clothes. Just postcard and fridge's magnet.

I guess you have done a lot of research for you upcoming trips. Here a thing to rest your mind and heart for a while. Click here!

Kepoh : Hidden Shits behind "Eh, murahnya yuran Uni ko!"

Member aku selalu terkejut bila aku bagitaw diorang harga yuran Uni aku per semester. Sebab memang murah. €42 = RM190.
Benda paling ketara aku rasa kat sini aku rasa racism kot.

Aku tak kisah mana pun sebab aku kalau ramai Malaysian kat course aku ni, memang ak copkan tempat. Yang aku bengang, bila aku dah duduk belakang, yang duduk depan tu bukan geng dia tapi random student. Dia plak beralih duduk kat belakang. Lepas tu aku dah paham dah.

Aku rasa diorang ni fikur yg aku tak reti buat. Kalau ye aku tak reti pun, bukan itu caranya. Aku nak belajar juga. Alhamdulillah, Lab Assistants sangat baik dan memahami. Dia banyak tolong aku masa lab atau masa nak siapkan Protokolle.

Sem 3 ni aku jadi bahan masa tengah Lab. System nombor Jerman ni memang problem kat aku. Bacaan nombor diorang macam bahasa arab, sebut nombor sa dlu then baru nombor puluh. So masa nak transfer data masuk computer, aku suruh member aku bacakan. Dan bila kitorang start cakap dalam bahasa Melayu mula la aku dengar bisik2 kat belakang. Yang gelak pun ada. Aku buat pekak je walau aku rasa macam nak tumbuk muka diorang satu2. Memang aku down giler masa tu. Nasib baik la dah nak habis waktu lab, so tak ada la seksa sangat.

Budak2 macam ni tend to be more open-minded dan lebih memahami.

Nad, kau kena kuat! └(-o-)┘

Protokolle = lab report
Biergarten = kedai minum beer berconcept open-air
Ausländer = Foreigner

Rant : I need hug

If I could just wake up from this bed.
Then go all the way to Frankfurt and buy tickets to Kuala Lumpur.

With everything happen to me right now, I really need to hug my mom. So badly!
It get worse when I keep imagining it.

If could just change myself completely and permanantly in one day, things would have been better.

Melancholy. Mellow.
I need hug

Perks of Shopping in Germany

As a Malaysian living in Germany, I observe many cultural differences between my homeland and Germany. The differences is so huge like a Malay's proverb "Bagai langit dan bumi" which means huge differences like the sky and earth. Germany does triumph in every aspects, literally! Sometimes it just sad for me to think why Malaysian folks doesn't act like the Germans.

And as a woman, shopping is something I can't avoid. My honest confession is I like shopping in Germany than in Malaysia although the goods are quite pricey or as they say "sau teuer". And I'm talking only on general view of shopping here in Germany in exception of electronics item as this items are much cheaper in Malaysia than here.

Customers always right!
I never encounter any situation where customers are told to f*** off when they report any problem with the item they bought. They seller in fact never questions the customers whether their claim are true or not. I once bought a bathroom scale that turn out to be faulty when I open the packaging. I quickily told the seller about the problem. Without further question, the seller sent me a new one with a free Return Postage of the faulty item. Its get better when I shop for clothes. The shops usually let the customer to buy and try their clothes at home. And when the clothes doesn't suit with them or in a wrong size, we could just return the clothes back and request for a change (i.e sizes, styles). You wouldn't get this privilages when shopping in Malaysia as I quite sure majority of buyer in  Malaysia will wear the clothes once outside and return it. Why I would say that? Because when I brought this story up to someone, they usually say "If I were you, I will wear the clothes for an occasion once and return it back." The reason I have trust issue.

Shop Freely
This is probably what I love the most aboit shopping in Germany. No more bugging sales assistant that will follow you inside the shop. Seriously, I hate it. If a sales assistant follow me while I browsing some items, I'll immediately leave the shop. Here in Germany, you are free to experiment with any item in the shop. The shop are arranged so that customer doesn't need to call sales assistant just to find a shoes size. As for a Shoes shop, the shoes are arrange on shelves according to the size. So in shelves 38, you will find all type of shoes in size 38. I once spent 2 hours in Humanic (shoes retailer) just trying different kind of shoes and left without buying anything. Not a single sales assistant disturb me although I left around 5 pair of shoes out of the box lying around me. They just asked me occasionally if I need any help. That's all. And after that I returned all shoes back to its shelves, sorting according to its initial position and left the shop as a gappy customer.

Use Plastic
Ok. Not a plastic bag or packaging. I'm referring to credit card or debit card. Here in Germany every bank card is a debit card or as the called EC-Karte which EC stand for Electronic cash. Which means I could totally survive having no cash here in Germany. Why? Because you can pay almost everything with EC-Karte. The Supermarket, Asian Market, Optic shops, Restaurant, train tickets you name it! Only banking is always issue together with a bank's account. I'm not really sure for a normal adult, but as a student, I received my EC-Karte and Online-Banking free of charge from Deutsche Bank. In Malaysia, you need to apply separately for online-banking and Debit card for a price. Which I think that is totally uncool. Perhaps it because the use of debit card isn't as wide as here in Germany.

Sale! Sale! Discount! Discount!
I guess all multi-seasons country have a lot of discounted sale. Sale on early October is for the shop to get ride of every summer clothes/collection. Sale on March are to get rid of every winter clothes/collection. And my favourite Christmas and New Year sale. An branded item for christmas sale can be too cheap that you make an excuse only to buy it. And as I always say, Christmas/New Year sale is the best time for Bride/Groom-to-be to search for barang hantaran (Gift on wedding in between Bride and Groom). Most item are cheap and nicely packed. The only reason stopping me from buying all the discounted stuffs are because I'm not any near to marriage or in need of barang hantaran.

I guess many factors cause this difference between shopping in Germany and Malaysia. Perhaps the factors lies ob cultural reason, society's behavior, and difference in technology. I really hope I can experience this kind of shopping in
Malaysia.

Happy 6th Anniversary Batch 2008 MRSM Kepala Batas

Dah 6 tahun dah rupanya sejak aku mula2 jejak kaki kat MRSM Kepala Batas. Aaah~ What a great time we had! Banyak benda yang berlaku masa kat maktab dulu. Peristiwa2  ni aku rasa sangat mematangkan aku. Aku tak lagi jadi budak yang pemalu nak luahkan sebarang pendapat. Aku tak lagi jadi budak yang yang tak tahu nak buat apa2. Banyak benda yang aku tak boleh lupa. Kebanyakannya mungkin sebab aku terlalu gembira.

Team Drama MRSM KB - Reversed Cinderella
Kenapa? Sebab Iqa adalah kawan aku yang terbaik! Dia faham aku, tak pernah kisah nak tegur aku kalau aku buat salah, sentiasa bagi moral support lebih2 lagi bila kami berdua belajar dekat non-english-speaking country. She understands every hard situation I'm in. Tapi cara aku kenal dengan Iqa sangat kelakar. Aku mula2 nampak Iqa masa dia tengah berlakon jadi budak gedik nak masuk asrama semasa minggu orientasi. Otak aku automatik fikir "Gedik giler minah ni." Tapi macam yang Iqa cakap, "siapa yang cakap aku gedik tu tak kenal aku." Memang betul pun.

Minggu Bahasa MRSM Kubang Pasu
Wakil Forum MRSM Utara untuk Minggu Bahasa peringkat Kebangsaan
PRS - Precious
Team Silat

Mock Interview
Belajar kat MRSM banyak improve leadership's skills aku. Banyak benda yang aku belajar kat maktab. Both academically and life's reality. Aku banyak join aktiviti off-study. Aku ingat aku nangis masa aku mula2 tahu sebab aku diejek. Tapi kata2 Cikgu Yani memang buat aku sedar.

"Biarlah diorang nak kata apa pun Nad.

Rant : Photomaniac's Problem

I'm a novice in Photography. I don't know how to take awesome shots. I'm still learning all basic technique through someone or YouTube. I know that I need to improve myself.I know the pictures I've taken not award-worthy (perhaps?), but I have a pride on every photo I take. And I take that pride seriously. Because of this, I have a hard time trusting other people take pictures on my behalf. I someone offer to take a photo of me, I'll only give my phone not my DSLR.

Some of these photos might look normal, ugly or ordinary to you, but to me it is parts of me, parts of what I love

I hope I can improve my skills, both on photography and editing
Ganbatte!!!

Rant : Wedding Gifts

Do you have a dilemma when it's about buying a wedding gift.
I do

I actually hate when the gift I gave to a newly-wed isn't as interesting as other gifts. I can give me headache just thinking what should I buy for the particular couple. And I end up buying a boring gift. I guess a newly-weds receive same things when they open their presents. Perhaps 4 rice cookers, 10 mugs/tea set, 7 bed sheets and other thing. Isn't that boring? I have sometime reach to a point where I don't really give a damn about the gift and just give the couples money. But then, no sentimental value from me reach them.

Source : www.connectionsinteriors.co.uk

Interestingly, I just found out that newly-weds have a Gift List attached to their wedding invitation. The Gift List is the things that they need for their newly-wed's life but instead of buying all of that with their money, they ask the Guests to buy it for them. The gift usually includes name of item, price and the shop. With this list, guests doesn't have to think a lot for a wedding's gift. They just choose which item they want to pay for it and the couple will pick the present from the shop themselves. This list also prevents multiple gifts of the exact same things like I mention before.

Source : www.buy-our-honeymoon.com

Source : www.oxfam.org.uk

They do take it to the next level sometimes. There are list where the guest can pay parts of their honeymoon. There are also a couple who choose to do some charity with their gift. How? I've seen a list where guests could buy chickens, goats, foods, fresh water for drinks and donate money.

People should start this in Malaysia instead of splurging their money on a mere Engagement Day. My gift giving worries would be over!!!!

TOON Walk - die verrückte Comicparade
Nürnberg,1 Feb 2014

or in english The Craziest Comical Parade is no kidding. It was crazy!!!!!
I paced myself to Nürnberger Altstadt in order to reward myself after finishing my Physics exam. I was welcomed be massive crowd in between City Point and Galeria Kaufhof. Mascots are everywhere. Not to forget cosplayers too. The atmosphere was amazing. Altstadt did felt alive. The live music really make it more festive. I danced along with the crowd, ignoring a few people that looked at me. What? Does a girl with a Hijab isn't allowed to have fun?

Now, I bring all of that energy to you!

Kepoh : Himpunan Cerita Hantu Asrama Malaysia

Aku rasa cerita hantu kat asrama ada banyak, tapi I can safely say that, ada a few common point even stories kat semua asrama

Kisah Tapak Asal

The Counting Ghost
"Satu dah tidur, dua dah tidur, tiga belum tidur, empat dah tidur, lima dah tidur"
"Satu dah tidur, dua dah tidur, tiga pura2 tidur, empat dah tidur, lima dah tidur"

Kesian orang ketiga tu.

Hantu Gosok Gigi

Kalau Jamie Oliver, aku mungkin minta autograf dia.

"Fakta anak ke-3. Hanya Alang sahaja boleh copy!"

Update on 10.Feb.2014

Wujud dah yang untuk anak no 3 pulak.. Jumpa kat FB member. Internet makin lama, makin mengarut
